The commemorative acts by Canada Habla Español also included the LATAM Young-preneur conference, an event organized with the Toronto Catholic District School Board.  More than 300+ students from grades 11 and 12 attended the conference and had the opportunity to listen to the lectures: “from the idea to the business” by David Vega; What is a StartUp, by Miryam Lazarte; the business history of Colmakers, by Juliana Montoya and Fernando Vega; the importance of the Chambers of Commerce, with Manuel Camacho; and the Summer Scholarship Program for Youth Ages 15-29, presented by Vikas Jain, Enterprise Toronto Small Business Counselor.
